Copa de oro. Cup of gold. (Alamanda cathartica) In our previous garden. This plant came from my parents’ house. We had rescued it and re-planted it. Not one single flower for many years. Until a few weeks before the move. 😦 I cut a branch. Re-planted it in the new garden. Let’s see how it goes.
Fight violence against women. Sketch, Tlalpan, Mexico city. 2016.
The final painting. By… I thought I had the artist’s name… Don’t. I’ll go back and get it.
Where am I? I haven’t got a clue. DC, maybe? (c)ourtesy Gini.
Does this help? Changing perspective?

Captain and crew wish you a great week. When and wherever you are.
All were grand and wonderful …except that dang spider in the hand picture. I was loving the different pictures, I was really looking hard at the difference between the beginning artist mural and the finished one where the plants had grown so much. So here I am with my face up close to the monitor, trying to catch every detail…. and scrolled into the spider in a hand. I jumped back and up at the same time. Must have raised up a foot defying gravity all the while trying not to yelp. 🙂 Great post, be well. Hugs
Sorry about the scare. Not my intention. Though it is my intention with Pot-pourri to jump from one place/time/subject/format to another… 🙂
The post was great and even with the scare it shows how much I and others get into the pictures you post. They draw the reader in and it is great. Hugs
Haha! Glad the post “draws” people in. The greatest reward for the “poster”.
I’m into orange at the moment. An orange house -mmmm. How would that go down in Much Wenlock, and me the Civic Society minuting secretary? Fascinating gallery, Brian. Not too keen on the furry arachnid, but may your Cup of Gold runneth over 🙂
Hi Tish. Looks like the “araignée” was not everyone’s liking. (I did not take in my hand I assure you) Asante sana for your good wishes for the Gold cup. Be good.
Hi Brian, I adore the orange house in Mexico City. It screams Mexico…love it!
Thank you Coeur de Feu. This new neighbourhood is a photographer’s paradise. Colours, shapes, architectural style… And we have had great light in the past few days. There is hardly a day that I don’t take a picture or the other. 🙂
(God bless I-phones!) Take care. B.
such lovely photographs Brian, love them.
Merci Holly. 🙂
my pleasure Brian.
Love your awesome shots…
Not the usual ones , in portraying Barcelona , so , particularly interesting!
Thank you. You’re only too kind. (Actually the Barcelona picture was taken by my daughter) 😉
Ah that Orange house, quiet different to what I normally see around me.
Indeed. Those are very “Spanish Colonial” colours, still widely used in this neighbourhood. 🙂
Yes it looks good
🙂 (An apology for the late answer, just got back from a tip abroad) Happy new year.
It’s okay, I understand everyone is busy and I’ve been away from the blogging world myself so not to worry.
I won’t. 🙂 I promise.
👍🏼
Not to worry, I haven’t been on the blogging for a while myself due to exams. 👍🏼
Oh. Exams. A dreaded word. How did it go? 🙂
Yes they’re going okay, haha I guess I’m surviving.
I’m sure you are doing better than that. 🙂
