I was in a dilemma for todays’ post: Lions or faces? Beasts or humans? Chose the latter. Here is a pot-pourri collected in the streets (and above) of various cities. The above: top of a doorframe, Paris.

“Annual holiday 2013. From August 2 to 28. See you then at 10h30. Have a nice summer. All the Anne & Marion team”. Rue de la Convention, Paris.

Loved that little announcement this past summer. Whoever drew it has a good pencil as the Frogs say. A good hand.

Equinoxio is taking a break for a few weeks.

‘Traveling to Colombia next monday until early January. ‘will travel light. No Mac. Just my ‘phone and ‘pad. (That is light?) Which will allow me to follow but not post.

Y’all have a wonderful Christmas and a very Happy new Year!

  1. In Romanian: faces => feΕ£e, portraits => portrete. πŸ™‚

Very nice collection of faces… or former-faces (those skulls :lol ) I also like Roy Lichtenstein’s drawings now that you’ve pointed to them. That catwoman portrait might rather be an argentinian actress that starred in the ‘Nano’ telenovela: Araceli GonzΓ‘lez. Admittedly it does look a little bit like Michelle Pfeiffer too. Who knows…? πŸ™‚

The last one, the announcement, tells about a drawing artist still young at heart with a pure and somehow childish sense of reality. I do like that one very much too. You’re a fine observer, Brian! πŸ˜‰

Enjoy Colombia and please bring back some photos. πŸ™‚ And if you incidentally meet Paola Rey – star of my favorite telenovela ‘La baby sister’ – tell her I loved her so much a few years ago for that ‘Fabiana’ role. πŸ™‚

Have a safe trip and please take care of yourself. See you soon! πŸ˜‰

      • Oh well, one can dream… πŸ™„ It’s gonna be her birthday in four days (on the 19th).
Oh sweet memories…! πŸ™‚ (I’m getting old, darn it! XD )

Have a great time there, Brian! πŸ™‚

      • I will try to find some material about her since today’s her birthday!
        (Mine was yesterday!)
But right now it’s raining like hell in Bogota.
Have great week-end my friend πŸ˜‰

      • Oh my, I had no idea! Happy belated Birthday, dear Brian! πŸ™‚ May you live long and healthy and all your wishes come true! Oh and also may the rain stop out there and let you enjoy the trip! πŸ™‚

And since it was your birthday, maybe some material about yourself would have priority over Paola (I keep calling her ‘Fabiana’ in my head ^^’ )

A wonderful weekend for you, dear friend! πŸ˜‰

    • How on earth did you watch a Colombian TeleNovela? You need to explain. I’m just devoured by curiosity! πŸ˜‰
      Be good my friend

      • Well, it was broadcast by one of our local TV stations at the time. Paola’s smile hooked me on the spot. And well, telenovelas were kinda new to us back then so I just was curious as to how such stories unwind. No other telenovela could match ‘La baby sister’ after that. Then I stopped watching TV and listening to radio for a few years and now I’m back to TV&radio silence. πŸ˜‰

        Enjoy the weekend! πŸ™‚

    • A belated thank you Sharmishtha.
I just came back and I’m catching up since I barely had any Internet connection in Colombia.
